run for your trips
until thursday mid night you can book free tickets on ryanair.com
they are making some special sales/promotion days! so, use it!!
for example, for Chri I saw a ticket for 5 euro Valencia-Porto...
concerning you coming to Portugal, let me tell you somethings: the fest is 5, 6, 7 September. As Kêlig arrives on the morning of 3rd to Lisbon I will be there at that time. so, if you want to come to Portugal and land on Porto you should do it until the 2nd September. if you want to land in Lisbon try to make it on the 3rd or 4th September, ok?
there is another airport where ryanair flyes to: Faro... it's far away! dont take this one!
ok?

You know you are from Estonia when...
1. You use the word ‘normal’ if something is ok.
2. When visiting friends abroad you bring along a box of Kalev chocolate.
3. You attended a song festival at least once either as a performer or as a spectator.
4. You know that going to the sauna is 80% about networking and 20% about washing
5. You are nationalistic about Skype (it is actually an Estonian company)
6. ‘Kohuke’ belongs to your menu
7. You declare your taxes on the internet like all modern people
8. You actually believed for a while that Latvians had 6 toes per foot when you heard that as a child
9. You are convinced that Estonia is very strategically located
10. You spent at least one midsummer in Saaremaa, Hiiumaa or one of the smaller islands
11. You can quote films like "Viimne reliikvia" and "Siin me oleme"
12. You spit three times around your left shoulder for good luck
13. Words like "veoauto", "täieõiguslik" or "jää-äär" sound perfectly pronounceable to you
14. You like bold statements (such as this one... ;-) ) and sarcasm
15. You can at times drink hot tea to hot food
16. You are disappointed that Jaan Kross never got the Nobel prize in literature
17. It would not be surprising for English-speakers to find your name naughty (Peep, Tiit, Andres [sounds like undress]) or hippy (Rein, Rain)
19. you say 'noh' (sounds like NO) even when you speak English, just to confuse people
It's just some sentence from my estonian teacher Teve.
If you know some other, can you post them, she wants our feeling.
I post this just before my very nice trip in Switherland.

Lost and Found...
It's been quiet around me...I know. Sorry. I suck at keeping contact, which I know.
So first of all Happy belated birthday to all of those that I did not send a birthday wish(so basicly all of you...gosh...I'm horrible! Sorry again!).
I LOVE the new heading by the way!
So what's been happening with me....
I really settled in in my new home in Münster. I love this city more and more: beautiful old town, the students’ spirit, all those bikes everywhere and especially now in spring (or rather summer as it feels like) Münster is more lively than ever, because everyone get out their barbecues and sits in the park to enjoy the sun and their beer. I’m not much of a photographer, so I don’t have any pictures, but I’ll make up for that. Or you just come over and see for yourselves (please do!).
So short version of the last few months: surcvied first semester, joined student’s council, drank Estonian beer in Berlin, ate Kohuke with Laura, visited Katha in Halle (and found a bar that serves Viru Valge), spent my semester break studying for stupid chemistry exam, started second semester, had Katha over in Münster (and also Ben for a couple of hours), met the German minister of health during a conference of the German pharmacy students’ association.
Yeah…sounds quite like it. Uni is quite fun so far and it actually leaes me some free time., so I’m taking Russian classes again. It’s quite fun actually and I enjoy being around other students who are not pharmacists (don’t get me wrong, I like my fellow students a lot. But most other pharmacists are science-people, so it feels good to be around people who have a different perspective on life/way of thinking).
Now I’m in my parents’ garden because it’s witsun-break (although not a single person cares about that holiday anymore, but hey…it gives me a week off!). I feel quite restless and want to go travelling but again…a n exam is ahead, so I’ll just save my travelling-energy till the summer! I’m REALLY looking forward to it and can’t wait.
Seeing Laura and Katha and Ben again really made me appreciate the EVS-spirit again. And I miss you guys!! Even if I never write or I’m not on MSN (turns out I’m not much of a messenger person). And I still do check the blog quite often….
Mhh…that’s it for now. I hope you hear form me more often now!
Miss you all!

one year later, I still remember the difficult moments shared with you
one year later, l have the feeling you will be in my heart and in my mind for all my life
many thinghs happened since that 4th may 2007, nice and not nice things, happy and not happy moments, but is the life by the way.
I still remember the time after estonia, I was so fucking depressed and sad, always thinking you in estonia: while you were working, having dinner, spending time in front of barbecue, having party, sleeping and dreaming!
just right, one year later l have opposite feelings, sad because we are not togheter (phisically) anymore, and in the same time happy because I think I was really lucky to have found you in that disappeared country, it was not obvious create a familiar atmosphere as someone can imagine, we learnt to accept ourself just like we were with our assets and defects, of couse sometimes we had problems, but this is the point, we acrossed them!!!!!
ok l don t want be pathetic anymore, but just say tou thank s and send you hugs and kisses with all my heart!!!!!

For some pictures......
Musi, one more time!!
my estonian's volunteers friends'time....
My battery are full of energy now!!
Yes, i went to Italy one week, visiting Chri'and... it was so a fucking good week.
We visited a lot: Pompei, Roma, Napoli, and Mont Saint Biage (à la francaise, as Chri' says when he's drunk!!) Everything is wonderful... Roma is a return to the roman empire, and Napoli is just a crazy city, but so typical! It was really the image that i got in my mind!! Whaou...
Of course, to see Chri' again was a pleasure, and we spent such a nice time together. I like so much his village, his family is in gold, and francesca is so fucking funny!
Thanks to them for this amazing week....
The day after my come back, i had to work at 6h45, but, i didn't go!!! I was a bit depress to go so fast in the real life!! So, i was sick!! :)
And the day after, Audé came for the long week-end with Flavien. It was a really nice nature and swiss food week-end! We did hiking into the mountains, but also, in the snow. Our feet were totally wet, our socks full of water..... but it was so funny!! I think they loved too the balcony and the outsider breakfasts..... :)
Now, i'm feel estonian again, this country of our recorders..... We're still a big family!! And it's so goooooood for the heart......
But, i've got a sad new to tell you: Claudine is dead last friday!!! :( :( Her funny story is over now but, i' m still loving chicken!!!!!!
Waiting for Portugal now, as Audé and Chri', and i think, as everyone.....
Love you and miss you all
See you in september dear friends
Bisous, baci, musi.....

My trip in Estonia
Monday, 5 May 2008
Back from trip to my memories....and new things :D
So, I am back from my trip around Europe :D I just came back yesterday to Patra and after a 13 hours long sleep (yes, it turned out that I needed it:) I m now sitting in front of my laptop ready to give you my report :D So...
I got a plane from Athens to Berlin on Friday 25th and I arrived there at midnight. I went straigth to meet Laura at the club she was having her unofficial birthday party. So nice!! I met her there and it was so normal, so like it didnt pass almost a year since I had last seen her... I met her friends, boyfriend, flatmates and I was so happy to see the normal life of one of us :D
On Saturday, Laura s mother and other relatives and friends came to her flat for a birthday brunch :) So, I had some good food before I go back to the airport and take plane to Tallinn this time.
I arrived to Tallinn at 19 00 on Saturday. Lena was there to pick me up and we went at her place. Her flat is very nice!!!! It s in a nice wooden house, in a nice quite neighborhood about 20 minutes walking from center :D I am so happy and jealous about that:)
After leaving my stuff and having some rest we had dinner at pepersack :D. Not volunteers anymore, we could afford :D Truth is that we had food for good price, probably olde hansa is doing very good and pepersack had to cut down on prices:D
On Sunday morning we went with Lena to the Ukrainian Greek- catholic church (yes, there was a sing like this :D) where we attended the Easter service. They had nice dancing and singing in traditional ukrainian way and it was very nice to see. In the evening we went at St Patricks (happy day so you pay one you take two beers :D).
On Monday morning I went to Estyes office and met Kaarina :D Just after office, I visited our flat, Mahtra 23/72. Next picture shows how mustakivi looks like now with the new building that was being built when we were there.
I rung the 72 bell and I took the lift to the 9th floor... Monica, a volunteer from Poland that is working in my project was waiting for me there. I ve went around the flat. It is very different, painted, really clean and tidy, they really manage to keep it like a normal flat. But I didnt feel bad, I was happy to meet most of the people living there, volunteers from France, FYROM, Poland, Finland, Bolivia, Germany and to see how our home is their home now but I was not feeling a stranger or an outsider....
Below (from left to right), Valentina from Italy that works in Viljandi, Silvie from Bolivia and Monica from Poland.
Just after the flat I visited my project where I had a full day of working there with my children :D I was so happy to see that they remember me and new children liked me :)
For the evening, I got back to Mahtra 23/72 flat and spent some more time with Monica and other volunteers :)
Tuesday was shopping day in the morning :) Vana tallinn and some russian books are what I bought but I also visited russian market and one second hand shop just to browse. In the evening I ve met my mentor Tanja and later we had dinner with Lena, Felice from Germany and Marta from Spain in Hell Hunt. Guess what I had for dinner.... pasta with salmon :D
After Hell Hunt we had some beer in Juuksur which looks very funny with this glass room for smoking :D
Wednesday I took a plane to Wien and then train to Ljubljana. I arrived at Ljubljana at about six p.m. put my stuff in the gym where we were living had some dinner and then party. So, actually my days in Ljuabljana were like this : Conference room till lunch, walking in the city and having beer till evening and then party in the night:D Have a look in the pictures!
from the conference room
from the city
from the gym where we were sleeping :)
from a party, a bit drunk :)
from another party :D
So, this was my trip, or at least these are things about my trip that I can share... Many memories, feelings, thoughts are unfortunately just for me, it s not possible to make words or pictures of them and share so I recommend you all to go back to Estonia soon :D
