.. Hej guys!
I'm alive and I'd love to be able to say I'm fine, but this weekend is killing me..
Some of you remember my friend Marie, I guess.. she left on friday. Went to England and is going to stay there for three months, selling posters at different universities. The fact that she'll be travelling around all the time and doesn't really know where she'll be makes it difficult for me to visit her, because i'd have to do it pretty spontaneously but that's always quite expensive.. So, she was the first one to leave. The next is my friend Laura, who is going to Heidelberg down in Southern Germany to study.. it's about 8 hours by train from here, so I won't be seeing a lot of her for the next couple of years, I am afraid. And on monday one of my friends is going to Hungary to do her EVS there (though I'm proud to say I 'inspired' her to become an EVS-volunteer, it's not easy for me to be happy for her). Last (but Really not least) one of my friends is leaving to do his military service on monday as well..
So you see, it's a weekend full of good-byes and I'm just not used to this. It's so fucking much harder to stay behind than to go, I never realized since the only one i've ever had to see go away was Lili, and you've met her, it's different with her. She has to go. She's in Scotland in a buddhist monastery by the way and on Ocotber 19th she'll become a nun for a year.. no sex, no alcohol, no drugs, no singing (!!!!!!!!), no dancing.. But as i said, it's Lili we're talking about.. ;)
So this is all bringing my mood down to a horribly low level, but at least uni starts in 8 days for me, which I really hope will take my mind off these things.
I'm looking forward to uni A LOT, since i feel 90% of my brain-cells have died since I last went to school (it's been one and a half years full of alcohol and other shit..) and it's time to feel like i'm doing something purposeful ;)
So guys, have fun in Lyon, i didn't know you were all going, sounds brilliant!
Oh, and I'm going to France for like a week around Easter next year.. though I'm not sure where yet, I think they said somewhere close to Paris, so that's a bit shitty, but I'll keep the French people around here informed ;)
I love you guys.. and I loved the wall. Can anybody tell me what happened??
Miss you all.. especially this weekend!
musi, kalli, kalli, musi!

Miss you Part II Some news from Ukraine:)
Hello people:) I’m glad to hear from all of you and glad to admit that our blog hasn’t actually died with the beginning of the new studying year:) We are still alive and present, except Kelig and Laura (Lee, I guess you can go to visit Berlin more often to stimulate Laura to post something
Everything is ok here, tomorrow we are going to have elections too (to choose the new members of our parliament), but I’m not going to put here as much information as enthusiastic Georgious did, our political process it too full of populism now anyway so it’s not that interesting.
We have some EVS volunteers here in Ukraine now. There are three of them – two from Germany (a boy and a girl) and one from Finland (girl). As for me I can say that I’m falling a bit into second wave of missing my EVS – it’s September now and I can’t avoid thinking about the September of previous year and about the very begging of my EVS. I’m starting to miss some ordinary things which GG mentioned like bus root or RIMI.
So love you all, musi-kali, wish everybody who started new university year (the very first one, like Laura or Barbara, or the finishing like GG or Aude) interesting subjects, nice professors and easy tests. And student parties:)
Miss you in Ukraine,
Lesya
PS: People I’m not always able to read the comments – it’s too slow to open and sometimes they just don’t want to open, so please answer more in your posts XXXX

Berlim pim pim
tere tere
i have just posted in my personal blog almost 30 pictures of my week in Berlin. So, I will not do the same here! If you want to see them just go to http://4000kmaleeste.blogspot.com/ and check it out. If you need some translation for the comments, I will be happy to make it for you! I will just translate (a part of) the last part of the original post. I do so, because (almost) every one of you has been in Berlin, some with me, and it makes no sense to write and say all over the same again and again... I hope you understand!
"I have seen one more million of things, bars and cheap restaurants that deserve no record except in my mind! But what I really liked in Berlin was the feeling of being back in a NORMAL city, where I am not darker than 90% of the population and where barbies hang out holding hands with punks, and there are freaks with their dogs, as I haven't seen for long time!! I liked how fast things are done and eated and sold and seen and walked by. I liked the design shops and people shoes, on the street. I liked the public transport system and the way people smile, for free, on the street. I enjoyed not being able to recognise foreigners and hearing lots of languages, be able to chose what kind of food I want for dinner... puff I ENJOYED BERLIN A LOT!!"
there are just 2 pictures that dont match with my personal blog, but should be here!!
one is for Aude, Terviseks!
and this one for Alice... maybe she now owns this cafe in Potsdam, for no one as seen her anywhere... only Aude... hum...
I still take this chance to tell you that I am fucking happy that Lena is coming back!! And that I will make a HUGE welcoming party for her! As some of you know, I came back from my holidays for Julka farewell party, but there was no party... so, now I really need a big party! It will be for Lena. One more thing that makes me really happy is that my best friend is coming to visit me on monday, for the week! It will be great, I am sure!! At least it is helping me pass this week, cause I am alone in Tallinn... Thom went to Russia with Julka and the volunteers from Kê and Aude projects are on the on arrival... everyone else in Lasnamae is a bit strange... and the flat is (a bit) different! but Julka promissed to write about that! Let's see when...
I hope everyone is ok, if so, please give some news... And Aude, where is the cooking book?? you look like a lazy mediterranean person I know... =p
lave you all
miss you a lot

Details on my return to Estonia
So I just wanted to let you know that I come back to Tallinn in the middle of October, at the moment I bought a busticket for 10th of October, so on 11th I should be there (hope I manage to everything I need before). I'll keep on working at my host organisation, so back to I-net all-day-on, MSN, Skype and talking to all of you.
I would like to put here some pictures, but my i-net connection is amaizing and it cuts me off each time I'm trying to do it.
So now for next 2 years I'm staying at Tallinn and if you feel like you've missed Estonia, you can always come here. But may be after all this time I become a real Estonian, won't talk to you and will be as active as a fish.
Love you all and hope toi hear from you as soon as possible!!!!
Musi-musi,
Lena

some people...
..simply find it hard to take their time to write on the blog..
..are not even busy enough to have a good excuse for it..
..should be told that their behaviour is a bit rubbish..
I know all this, and i'm seriously sorry i'm such a bad person concerning the keeping in touch and writing regularly thing, and i've always been and never changed that..
So, NOW, i'll take a couple of minutes, because i'm sick anyways and i should probably not go out tonight, but of course, i will and i don't regret it ;)
Anyways, many of you might already know that Lee, Barbara and Doro and her boyfriend came to Berlin last week and we did the whole tourist-programm. I really enjoyed it, and I hope so did the others..
Uhm.. is it normal that I can't see my pictures? Because they seem to show as tons and tons of weird signs and letters, so I'm very confused.
Anyways, I know Lee could do all this a lot better, but her camera is kind of ..broken.. so now she can never see her pictures. But talented as she is, I'm sure they're all brilliant or artistical anyways.
Oh, and some more news: I was accepted by all the universities I applied at ;p
And now I will stay in Berlin and study Scandinavian Philology and Social Sciences, which I am really, really happy about.
So guys, I want to see whether my photos are there, because otherwise this was all for nothing. And i need to find myself some food before going out, so I kind of have to rush.
Love you all, and love the blog :)
musi, kalli, kalli, musi!!

By the way, I'm coming back to Estonia, I'm waiting for documents, but I already have a permit!!!!

Love you all,
