Aloha everybody!

I m not going to to say anything more on Euro 2008, Greece sucked, Russia dissappointed me aswell, Euro 2008 is finished for me :) I m writing just to make you jealous.... (hehehe). I m going to Barcelona on 9th July! I ll be living in a nice place ( as Lee said, the best place in Barcelona) in Ciutadella :)

That s the place :D

I ll be there till 13th July when I fly to Tallinn :D. More photos and news when I m back. Best part about this is that it is for free!!! Trip, accommodation, food, it s an award for a contest I took part. Do you feel jealous enough? :D

the non european countries euro cup

hey guys!

i am back from london (yeah, Ben I am in Portugal already...). so, i didn't find Donna, I didn't go to Fabric (cause there were thousands of people making a line at 11 pm...), but I am back happy.

I 'm owing some beers to Barbara, right... I will pay, no worries. Actually Chri is helping me to pay this! I am really sorry that our countries are out. but I am worst about having a goal keeper like Ricardo... Isaand!!

Now I bet that the final will be Russia vs Turkie! Russia has showed good futball, and it's the first time they go to euro cup since 91... they deserve it! and Turkie... you know, when some one is lucky, portuguese people say that person has a litle star over his shoulder. Well, Turkie has a fucking constelation illuminating their way. But anyway, I would prefer Russia to win! so, I bet one bottle of Porto wine on Russia! who's in?

in London I met some english man that told me: "Don't be sorry or sad cause your team got kicked out. England was never in!" eh eh eh it made me smile! So, this is also for the french, the greek, the italians...

i only hope that a non european union country wins this bloody tournament! ;)

the beginning of my summer

so, and as to answer GG... I am going to London tomorrow! why? what for? I am going cause for 2 years I have been wanting to go there and visit one of my best friends that studies there (she is an opera singer). In the meanwhile another friend moved there to study music as well. so, I will go with 2 friends to visit 2 more and we are staying in a house of some portuguese... so it will be funny.

Plus that I am going cause the trip costed only 30 euro in that ryan air promotion I told you about. I am also going 'cause I have been twice in London... inside of the airport!!!

but there are 2 real reasons Why I am going there for the weekend: first I am going to a drum n bass party @fabrics, as I always wanted to go, as a real drum n bass fan!!

and my second mission is to find Donna and bring news to you!! I never met her, ok. but I know that if I see her on the street I will recognize her for sure! so... wish me luck!! (i am not joking!!)

happy GG??

as for the rest of my simple life... everything is fine. A week ago I was working for 5 days in a food tent in as organizations market in my town. I was making crepes with Lena's receip and Aude's frying pan... and it was a major success, of course! All the kids wanted and my friens are fatter now... eh eh eh

i have been to the beach, finally!! So, I got my real color back, not my estonian look! I look like me again! Maybe you wouldn't notice a diference, but in my mind and my sould it makes a huge difference to lay on the beach and dive in the cold ocean! I LOVE IT!!

i bought some nice present for Kelig today... if anyone else wants something just let me know... Portugal is still a cheap country for some stuff!

ah!! tomorrow I am going to interview one of my favourite musicians!! he is from my home town and just edited a new work (2 cd's with 40 musics each and a 140 pages book) that sould out in 2 weeks!! He was my platonic love when I was a teenager... you can listen to some of his musics here they are all in portuguese, but... the pictures are also his and the videos are quite nice! so, I leave you with Manel Cruz... and I am so excited that I wont be able to sleep tonigh... i am quite sure!!

I love you all, always in my sun tanned heart!!

les blues?...a la maison hihihi :)

pfff.....why estonian-france people don t like football?

ok gigi, I have to joke with you....what about greece? why greek football players didn t go to swisse_austria to play eurocup? problem with boat?

You know you are from Estonia when...

1. You use the word ‘normal’ if something is ok.
2. When visiting friends abroad you bring along a box of Kalev chocolate.
3. You attended a song festival at least once either as a performer or as a spectator.
4. You know that going to the sauna is 80% about networking and 20% about washing
5. You are nationalistic about Skype (it is actually an Estonian company)
6. ‘Kohuke’ belongs to your menu
7. You declare your taxes on the internet like all modern people
8. You actually believed for a while that Latvians had 6 toes per foot when you heard that as a child
9. You are convinced that Estonia is very strategically located
10. You spent at least one midsummer in Saaremaa, Hiiumaa or one of the smaller islands

11. You can quote films like "Viimne reliikvia" and "Siin me oleme"

12. You spit three times around your left shoulder for good luck
13. Words like "veoauto", "täieõiguslik" or "jää-äär" sound perfectly pronounceable to you
14. You like bold statements (such as this one... ;-) ) and sarcasm
15. You can at times drink hot tea to hot food
16. You are disappointed that Jaan Kross never got the Nobel prize in literature
17. It would not be surprising for English-speakers to find your name naughty (Peep, Tiit, Andres [sounds like undress]) or hippy (Rein, Rain)

18. You have been to Finland
19. you say 'noh' (sounds like NO) even when you speak English, just to confuse people

It's just some sentence from my estonian teacher Teve.
If you know some other, can you post them, she wants our feeling.

I post this just before my very nice trip in Switherland.

Lost and Found...

Tere!

It's been quiet around me...I know. Sorry. I suck at keeping contact, which I know.
So first of all Happy belated birthday to all of those that I did not send a birthday wish(so basicly all of you...gosh...I'm horrible! Sorry again!).
I LOVE the new heading by the way!

So what's been happening with me....

I really settled in in my new home in Münster. I love this city more and more: beautiful old town, the students’ spirit, all those bikes everywhere and especially now in spring (or rather summer as it feels like) Münster is more lively than ever, because everyone get out their barbecues and sits in the park to enjoy the sun and their beer. I’m not much of a photographer, so I don’t have any pictures, but I’ll make up for that. Or you just come over and see for yourselves (please do!).

So short version of the last few months: surcvied first semester, joined student’s council, drank Estonian beer in Berlin, ate Kohuke with Laura, visited Katha in Halle (and found a bar that serves Viru Valge), spent my semester break studying for stupid chemistry exam, started second semester, had Katha over in Münster (and also Ben for a couple of hours), met the German minister of health during a conference of the German pharmacy students’ association.

Yeah…sounds quite like it. Uni is quite fun so far and it actually leaes me some free time., so I’m taking Russian classes again. It’s quite fun actually and I enjoy being around other students who are not pharmacists (don’t get me wrong, I like my fellow students a lot. But most other pharmacists are science-people, so it feels good to be around people who have a different perspective on life/way of thinking).

Now I’m in my parents’ garden because it’s witsun-break (although not a single person cares about that holiday anymore, but hey…it gives me a week off!). I feel quite restless and want to go travelling but again…a n exam is ahead, so I’ll just save my travelling-energy till the summer! I’m REALLY looking forward to it and can’t wait.

Seeing Laura and Katha and Ben again really made me appreciate the EVS-spirit again. And I miss you guys!! Even if I never write or I’m not on MSN (turns out I’m not much of a messenger person). And I still do check the blog quite often….

Mhh…that’s it for now. I hope you hear form me more often now!

Miss you all!
Musi, musi

PS: I don't have any of your post addresses!! Can you give them to me? I have tons of postcards that want to be sent all over the Europe!!

one year later

one year later, I still remember the great moments shared with you
one year later, I still remember the difficult moments shared with you
one year later, l have the feeling you will be in my heart and in my mind for all my life

many thinghs happened since that 4th may 2007, nice and not nice things, happy and not happy moments, but is the life by the way.
I still remember the time after estonia, I was so fucking depressed and sad, always thinking you in estonia: while you were working, having dinner, spending time in front of barbecue, having party, sleeping and dreaming!

just right, one year later l have opposite feelings, sad because we are not togheter (phisically) anymore, and in the same time happy because I think I was really lucky to have found you in that disappeared country, it was not obvious create a familiar atmosphere as someone can imagine, we learnt to accept ourself just like we were with our assets and defects, of couse sometimes we had problems, but this is the point, we acrossed them!!!!!

ok l don t want be pathetic anymore, but just say tou thank s and send you hugs and kisses with all my heart!!!!!

-------------------------------------------------
I wanted post for the right day (4th of may) but you know for this kind "nagamiste day" l had great present, the presence of kelig, maybe you can imagine that for me was really important to see one of the most important piece of estonian life

it was wonderful time and we did the same thing we did in estonia...hey hey I m not talking about party and be drunk also if we did of course (I also collapsed in rome:), l mean dreaming and plan something and we are really looking forward to see everyone in portugal, also if we know that fo someone it s quite difficulu unfortunately. actually I said to lee when l plan to go without asking her anything :)...I m sorry lee :P but by the way maybe l don t have choice, because on the 19th of july l will fly to valencia (spain) for one month and half to find somework as waiter.

ok maybe l finished...for you happyness:)
baci a tutto l'auberge estonienne!!!!!!

p.s. does someone has picture of wonderful party tha you organized for my departure from tallinn?please send me

For some pictures......

I let Chri' and Audé post some pictures because i've got a so shity internet connection, and i can't..... fuck!!

Musi, one more time!!

my estonian's volunteers friends'time....

tere tere dear friends...

My battery are full of energy now!!

Yes, i went to Italy one week, visiting Chri'and... it was so a fucking good week.
We visited a lot: Pompei, Roma, Napoli, and Mont Saint Biage (à la francaise, as Chri' says when he's drunk!!) Everything is wonderful... Roma is a return to the roman empire, and Napoli is just a crazy city, but so typical! It was really the image that i got in my mind!! Whaou...
Of course, to see Chri' again was a pleasure, and we spent such a nice time together. I like so much his village, his family is in gold, and francesca is so fucking funny!
Thanks to them for this amazing week....

The day after my come back, i had to work at 6h45, but, i didn't go!!! I was a bit depress to go so fast in the real life!! So, i was sick!! :)

And the day after, Audé came for the long week-end with Flavien. It was a really nice nature and swiss food week-end! We did hiking into the mountains, but also, in the snow. Our feet were totally wet, our socks full of water..... but it was so funny!! I think they loved too the balcony and the outsider breakfasts..... :)

Now, i'm feel estonian again, this country of our recorders..... We're still a big family!! And it's so goooooood for the heart......

But, i've got a sad new to tell you: Claudine is dead last friday!!! :( :( Her funny story is over now but, i' m still loving chicken!!!!!!

Waiting for Portugal now, as Audé and Chri', and i think, as everyone.....

Love you and miss you all
See you in september dear friends

Bisous, baci, musi.....

My trip in Estonia

Tere tere
Me too i was in Estonia during my easter's holidays.

I didn't take time to post my picture but know it's done !!
I had a very nice trip with a little stop in London's airport for a night !!
I LOVE ryanair and easyjet when you must changed airport....

But Lena took me on the airport in Tallinn and the real trip started.
After a little stop on her wood house (like Georgios said) we eat in St Patrick with two other volunteers.

During my little week there, i went to my kindergarten and it was a very good moment for me.

All the kinds remember me and was very happy to see me again.

After that, i went to a second hand, hell hunt, i walked in the old tower, eat in Peapersak and bought some fazer chocolat and saw A!!!
I aslo saw my little student, my nice teacher Laida, Elen and Teve.

I do a lot of other things but i can write all...

For me it was a very nice travel to come back to Estonia even if i was there just a week before Georgios !!
My go back to France was again with a stop in London and that time i saw my cousin.

I hope you would go back to Estonia to see Lena and all your remembering.....

I will post an other post quite soon (i think) because this wensday i go to SWITZERLAND with Flavien...

Enjoy your time and take care of you.

See you soon maybe in Portugal.

Back from trip to my memories....and new things :D

Tere and zdravo to everybody!

So, I am back from my trip around Europe :D I just came back yesterday to Patra and after a 13 hours long sleep (yes, it turned out that I needed it:) I m now sitting in front of my laptop ready to give you my report :D So...

I got a plane from Athens to Berlin on Friday 25th and I arrived there at midnight. I went straigth to meet Laura at the club she was having her unofficial birthday party. So nice!! I met her there and it was so normal, so like it didnt pass almost a year since I had last seen her... I met her friends, boyfriend, flatmates and I was so happy to see the normal life of one of us :D

On Saturday, Laura s mother and other relatives and friends came to her flat for a birthday brunch :) So, I had some good food before I go back to the airport and take plane to Tallinn this time.

I arrived to Tallinn at 19 00 on Saturday. Lena was there to pick me up and we went at her place. Her flat is very nice!!!! It s in a nice wooden house, in a nice quite neighborhood about 20 minutes walking from center :D I am so happy and jealous about that:)

After leaving my stuff and having some rest we had dinner at pepersack :D. Not volunteers anymore, we could afford :D Truth is that we had food for good price, probably olde hansa is doing very good and pepersack had to cut down on prices:D

On Sunday morning we went with Lena to the Ukrainian Greek- catholic church (yes, there was a sing like this :D) where we attended the Easter service. They had nice dancing and singing in traditional ukrainian way and it was very nice to see. In the evening we went at St Patricks (happy day so you pay one you take two beers :D).

On Monday morning I went to Estyes office and met Kaarina :D Just after office, I visited our flat, Mahtra 23/72. Next picture shows how mustakivi looks like now with the new building that was being built when we were there.

I rung the 72 bell and I took the lift to the 9th floor... Monica, a volunteer from Poland that is working in my project was waiting for me there. I ve went around the flat. It is very different, painted, really clean and tidy, they really manage to keep it like a normal flat. But I didnt feel bad, I was happy to meet most of the people living there, volunteers from France, FYROM, Poland, Finland, Bolivia, Germany and to see how our home is their home now but I was not feeling a stranger or an outsider....

Below (from left to right), Valentina from Italy that works in Viljandi, Silvie from Bolivia and Monica from Poland.

Just after the flat I visited my project where I had a full day of working there with my children :D I was so happy to see that they remember me and new children liked me :)

For the evening, I got back to Mahtra 23/72 flat and spent some more time with Monica and other volunteers :)

Tuesday was shopping day in the morning :) Vana tallinn and some russian books are what I bought but I also visited russian market and one second hand shop just to browse. In the evening I ve met my mentor Tanja and later we had dinner with Lena, Felice from Germany and Marta from Spain in Hell Hunt. Guess what I had for dinner.... pasta with salmon :D

After Hell Hunt we had some beer in Juuksur which looks very funny with this glass room for smoking :D

Wednesday I took a plane to Wien and then train to Ljubljana. I arrived at Ljubljana at about six p.m. put my stuff in the gym where we were living had some dinner and then party. So, actually my days in Ljuabljana were like this : Conference room till lunch, walking in the city and having beer till evening and then party in the night:D Have a look in the pictures!

from the conference room

from the city

from the gym where we were sleeping :)

from a party, a bit drunk :)

from another party :D

So, this was my trip, or at least these are things about my trip that I can share... Many memories, feelings, thoughts are unfortunately just for me, it s not possible to make words or pictures of them and share so I recommend you all to go back to Estonia soon :D

Fantomas is back ;)))

Heeeeyyyy!!!! :)

I've managed! I can post again (thank you Lee).

I don't have a lot of time as usual, so just want to say that I'm deeply happy that you haven't forgot me, that, as it seems, all of you are more or less ok (except for the weather :) in Ukraine it's the same by the way - unstable and fucking cold) and that I can post again on the blog.

And now a picture. We've celebrated Easter some days ago (in Ukraine most people celebrate according to Orthodox calendar), I've been to my granny's place - nothing specila, but it was nice, that's one of the pictures made there

Answering Lee's post..

Hi guys!

Got no time, but thanks for the congratualations! :) just wanted to post a picture cause Lee wants us to :)
It's my flatmates and me in our flat at our house-warming-party in the beginning of march :)

answering Lesya's e mail

tere tere party people,

i am quite happy with Lesya's e-mail... cause, actually, these days I have been thinking about "us" a lot! so, i am glad to know that you are alive and in good health! I dont think that anyone is in position of judging anyone or being sad because of the lack of news... we are just fucking lazy, ALL of us!!

So, as i have been away from the news lately I will tell you about my life... my health is not that good! thanks to the global warming the weather is absolutly crazy in Portugal! One day i am on the beach, the next day I am wearing a winter jacket and boots... and my body doesn't really like it, so I am sick for more than a month now... nothing serious, but it starts to get on my nerves!!
My estonian baby is still here, but now it's called Super Bock and not Saku, anymore! My hair is not red anymore, but more brownish-redish something... and it has a cut and a form again!! Urray!!

now, the real life: I am starting a new job on Friday! Well, actually it's my old job! I am getting back to the newspaper I was working before going to Estonia... So, on one hand i am happy cause finally I will have a real job, with a "good" salary, I will have a timetable (I start to need some routine in my life), I will get my "professional card" after 9 months of work and I can start saving up some money to visit you guys all over!! on the other hand I am a bit sad about this job cause: it's brings me nothing new, i am going back to an old job, same people, same problems, for at least 9/10 months and i will be stuck in my smaaaaaaaall town for this time!! but life goes on, and as the things are im Portugal... I am happy I got a job!

it makes me sad that you and Lena are thinking about not coming to Portugal in September, but of course i understand that the prices are amaizingly high! that's the price of living in a garden by the sea, in the ass of Europe!! is the same for me, to get out of Portugal... I have to cross these 2 fucking huge countries or take a plane and that's expensive. but, Lesya, if the problem is the visa... I mean: is the problem the price of the visa or the way to get it? cause I guess I could get you an invitation (same for Julka..)!

so, but Lesya, if you are thinking about coming to an european country, like Germany, that means you would get a Schengen visa... and that makes life so much easier!! right? =D

anyway, I am preoaring some pictures to post on the blog... so, for now this is it! I urge everyone to post something: a picture, a message, just a hi5!
love you

winter pictures from Switerzland

hey guys...
I think Lena was challeging us, so that we won't get lazy buts! anyway I don't have spring pictures yet! The weather in Portugal it's just amaizing. 3 weeks ago I went to the beach, swimm in the ocean... everything was lovely and hot! then it started rainning and rainning and being cold and windy!! but it stopped today! So I am happy. in the meanwhile I got sick because of the changes in the weather (and in clothes!).
anyway, just to give you a bit of snow I here post some pictures of the days I spent in Suisse with Kêlig and Alice! I really enjoyed that weekend and I am looking forward to reppeat it!
So, I don't have that many pictures of Leysin or Aigle, nor even from Geneve. My trip was not cultural or turistical... let's say it was "friendal"!!

so on my first days Kê took me to a lovely place with a lake and a nice town

besides this fork the lake also has swans and nice chairs on the rocks!

so that's me, by the lake

and that's us, by the lake... so original...

just a detail from that lovelly town. All of what I've seen in suisse it looked so pitoresc, so nicely romantic! And, due to my broken camera I and quite proud of this picture!! ^^

this is Geneve skyline, but you could guess that, no? Thanks so some traffic we got there too late to see the city with light, but still, we had really nice time!

and we found this square. I propose a meeting there!!
Now, let's talk about Leysin, where Kê lives. the village is lovely, nice and clean. it looks more or less like this

oh yes, that's Alice in the middle!
but I must say that my favourite part od this village is Kê's house, specially the fucking balcony!
so, coming from the main road

this on the path form Kelig's and Laura's flat...
the flat is really nice, and you can feel and see Kê and Laura everywhere! I felt really confortable and at home!

specially when we had such nice meals as cheese fondue and raclette!!! here is Laura with the fondue... no pictures from the raclette, cause we ate it all very fast!! eh eh

now, let's talk about the balcony... as I got there in the evening I did not see it. in the morning, going to the kitchen I was amazed to see what was going on on the other side of the living room...

it's like this!!

and of course, monsieur Kêlig loves to have breakfast outside!

actually it was one of the best things in this trips: the sunny breakfasts!! I got so much sun that my nose began to peel... can you believe this?

this is the side view, with a filter made with my sun glasses

the fucking awsome amaizing view from the balcony.....
that's all for today folks! Now I challenge you all to post some pictures more beautifull than these ones!!
